Need a bit of advice / help with installation

Hi all,

I have been trying to install HuMo-genealogy and am running into some problems. I'm hoping someone here can offer some advice to help me get started. Here are the details:

- My hosting service is netfirms.com
- I am trying to install the newest version of HuMo-genealogy
- I have no problem creating a new database
- I have modified the db_login.php file as instructed
- I have no problem copying all the files onto the server
- When pointing to the admin folder in my browser, I get the following message:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you
might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
- I contacted my hosting provider and they could not help me.

I am assuming that the file structure is correct because I don't get a "Page not Found" error or other error that would imply missing or corrupt files. It seems like there is some disconnect between the initialization script and my database, but I have no clue how these things work.

If any of you have encountered a similar problem and been able to get past it, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated.

- When pointing to the admin folder in my browser, I get the following message:

What PHP version is used? Try to use a recent PHP version. Try PHP version 7.4 or higher.

- I have modified the db_login.php file as instructed

If the file isn't modified, it can be changed online using the admin page.

If there is still a problem, try removing the htaccess or php.ini file in the main HuMo-genealogy folder and in the admin folder.

Thank you.

I have php 7.4.1
I deleted the htaccess file in the root of humogen
I deleted the php.ini file in /admin
I reverted db_login to the one in the download package

I refreshed my screen and the installation process completed as I was expecting.
